The Ruby Cinema is locally owned and operated by Mark and Ali Drucker. They opened the Majestic Theater in Crested Butte in 2005. At the Majestic, the Druckers sought to break current movie theater norms by reflecting their local culture and by offering a personal touch to the movie going experience.

In 2009, the Druckers were offered the chance to operate a state-of-the-art movie theater in the new College Center on the Western State College campus. The opportunity to operate in such a space was made possible with a generous donation from WSC alumnus Don Prosser.

Mark and Ali are proud to offer the latest digital 3D in a LEED Certified building. At the Ruby, they hope to serve the needs of the Western State College community, as well as the needs of Gunnison County year-round locals.
